Cancer Leaves Me Needing Help I Normally Provide

For those that don’t know me, I have a major problem and I’m not just talking with cancer. I am one of those people that loves to provide help for others but not ask others when I am needing help. I honestly do need help right now, with cancer bills for one thing. If anyone could please donate to the GoFundMe or contact me for my mailing address if you don’t want to go that route to send a donation.

Talking About Needing Help

With what I’m going through, I’m also not very vocal with my needs. There are honestly days that I’m not feeling like talking much to anyone, while other days I’m just hoping for someone to reach out to talk to me. So if you do have my number, normally between 5:30 and 10pm if you want to send me a text I’d appreciate it. For those of you that message me with the link above (or text me during other hours), I’ll get back to you when I can.

For main things, instead of being a broken record, I’d rather have everyone just refer to my posts here vs wearing myself down repeating myself (as I know the intentions are well, but then I honestly do get confused as to who I told what, so it’s easier to look for main/majority of updates on the site).

Cancer Treatments: Questions & Answers

Anyhow, I’ve been asked a decent amount of questions, which I’m going to share them along with my response..

  • Are you losing hair or your eyebrows?
No, I’m not yet. The hair on top of my head isn’t that much of an issue to me, but when it comes to the eyebrows, it’s a great thing I’ve got a female roomie that’ll be able to help me with getting through that.
  • How are you feeling?
There’s some weakness everyday. Some slight nausea, but it’s not horrible. Drinking the 64+ oz of fluids a day is making me run to the bathroom so much, who knows, I may need knee replacements after this.
  • Any strange food cravings?
No, not really. I’ve had a few things come to mind that I haven’t had in a while so I’ve had them in the last few weeks before treatment.
  • Any hot nurses at treatment?
Most the nurses are decent looking and a great team (very professional and I’m very happy that they are the ones taking care of me). There’s only one I didn’t care for thus far and they were on the 1st day.
  • How are you coping with things?
Honestly, every day is different. It is no matter how you look at it a mental and emotional journey. I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and overcome what I’m going through.

Editor’s Note: Bryan needs your help with the incredible medical bills for his cancer treatments. Anything – even $5 or $10 – would be so appreciated.
