It’s the day after St. Patrick’s Day. Maybe some of you had a little TOO much fun yesterday. Don’t worry, we have just the cure for your hangover greens.
1. Drink a refreshing glass of Shakeology! The whole superfoods found in Shakeology will help your stomach. You need good food to help calm your stomach down. And no, that taco you had at 3 a.m. this morning doesn’t count. Go make that Shakeology, now.
2. Take the active senior multivitamins. These are designed with a little extra kick for aging bodies whose digestive systems may have trouble absorbing nutrients. Your hangover is creating similar conditions in that grumbling tummy. The vitamins, micronutrients, and minerals will help restore energy to your cells to flush the toxins from your body, which can support a reduction in sluggish feeling and that hungover headache. Plus, it’ll help you stay awake to go to work. Yeah, work. Forgot about that part yesterday, didn’t you?
3. Drink a lot of water. Water, water, water. Doesn’t matter if it’s tap (check and make sure your local water supply is safe), bottled, or purified. Your body needs it to rehydrate itself after a night of partying.
4. Move. It sounds counterintuitive, but it’s true. If you move, your body can work the toxins out of your body faster. It doesn’t have to be a hardcore workout, but a nice walk outside (or at the mall if it’s cold) will help.
