Life moves slow, but gone in seconds

I’m 30, and so far I don’t feel like I accomplished much. Yeah, I went to college, got a few jobs, got married, but then life came to a screeching halt when health problems started to arise. Then I lost my jobs, so now I’m back in school to change careers, and people say you have plenty of time to do things.

No, you don’t. Don’t wait for “financial security”, you’ll never get it. Don’t wait for the “right time”, it’ll never be the right time. Don’t wait. Life is always going to throw you obstacles, big and small to try and deter you from living the fullest you can. Life can also cut it short within seconds. Don’t let it. Don’t wait. Live it to the fullest, and do what you want to do.

Maybe you can’t do everything. But do at least ONE thing you want most in this world. Then try the second thing. Then the third. Do as much as you can.

I’m trying to convince my husband to go skydiving this summer. Just one thing right?

Here’s my list:

Have children
Travel to England, Ireland, Scotland
Rock climbing
Skiing (the snow kind)
Learn to dance
Take a couples’ cooking class

I keep adding to the list every once in a while when I see something I like. What’s your list?
