The Couch-to-5K Running Plan

I wanted to start running, but I’ve never been good at getting started. So I did my research, and I came across the Couch-to-5K running plan from Cool Running.

It’s a nine-week, 3-day-a-week program that helps you get started slowly, rather than just jumping right into running on the first day. You have to build your muscles and your endurance slowly or you risk injury. Also, make sure you have good support in your shoes.

I haven’t started yet, though I planned to until I woke up this morning and saw that it was too dark and raining outside. Not exactly prime conditions for running, especially a beginner like me.

So I did my Brazil Butt Lift Sculpt session, and now I’m sore from the leg lifts and thigh lifts. But that just means I can feel my muscles working hard! I finished up with a really good electrolyte drink and thought about how good this is going to be.

Drink lots of water and stay healthy!
